Interesting fact.
This is a map of all the dry counties and partially dry counties in the US. The most ironic thing, the idea that inspired me to research this, is the fact that the Jack Daniels distillery is in a dry county. There is a special addendum to the law though that lets tourists buy little souvenir bottles of the liquor. At least you can buy some then right? But you can't drink it! At least there you can't. I wonder how they deal with the people that taste the booze and make sure they have a good product.... Is that legal?
