This is for everyone who hasn't been to Chicago in the winter. This is my first time. I thought that this would be a really cool thing to do. Millennium Park is a really cool place to go and you haven't fully experienced Chicago until you hang out here for a little while.

This was great! Here is Netty with her Super Awesome to the MAX!! I think that she should copyright this! Going to miss her when I go back to California! I'm super glad that I got the chance to hang out with her as much as I did though! Thanks for the Super Awesome to the MAX massage as well Netty!!!

MN Wild!

This was as we scored the one and only goal at the game Sarah and I went to see. They looked pathetic as a team and lost 4 to 1. It was a good time though! I like watching professional hockey. I don't get to see many Wild games out in California though. No bueno.

MN Warmth.

Here I am modeling the new line of Old Man Fur Hats. Haha! These things are ridiculous! I can't believe people live in places that you need to wear these to keep warm! 

MERRY XMAS!! - Baby's First Christmas!

He is so cute! He's getting 7 teeth in so he's gumming all of his presents!  Lucky we all gave him teddy bears and soft gifts so it didn't matter!

Snow in Vegas?

This was crazy! Here is a picture from the sky as I was flying into Vegas. What an anomaly! Well I landed in MN safe. Yes, I'm freezing my ass off! I'm still glad that I only have to endure this for a couple weeks every winter and can go back to Cali and enjoy the nice(r) weather. It was great seeing my family and friends though! Jack is such a cute little boy! He's growing so big too! I'll get some pictures that my sister and mother took to post for you to see!

Last Cali Sunset.

So on my last night before I flew out I went up on the roof to enjoy another sunset before I fly up to the tundra for Christmas. It was a gorgeous one and I was thinking to myself how it was a little chilly.... Then I thought about how cold it is in MN. Yeah, not looking forward to that.

Rainy San Diego.

Today I ran some errands down in San Diego. It was raining and not particularly a nice day. I guess it can't be nice all the time! Haha we only wish right!

Tried to Catch the Sunset.

Sometimes you just catch the last glimpse of it. If I see a nice sunset and out driving around. I will try and get to a nice spot to take a few pictures. After the light fades enough to put down the camera I take a second for me. This is the time I like the most. The enjoyment of living in the moment and the natural beauty of the earth.

Night on the Golf Course.

With the roommates out of town I'm looking after Bear. At night I take her up to the golf course and let her run around and go nuts. She loves playing fetch. It was a beautiful night. I'm not looking forward to going to the Christmas-Fairy-Tale-Land! Time to pull out all the sweaters and jackets!

The Culprit.

Today I was taking care of the Basil plant as my roommates have been out of town for a week and won't be back for another few days. At first the plant looked a little scarce. We have been using a lot of it lately.... We love to have fresh Basil with our food but after a closer look I spotted one of these! An inch worm! Eating at all of those luscious leaves. So I cut the leave off that he is eating and put him outside in the grass. (Yes we still have grass, no snow here! Haha) I go back to my business with the plant and found another one!! And another one!!! There were three of these little buggars just chomping down our plant! Needless to say the other two made it outside as well but they were tossed out the window!

Manic Monday.

Well it was funny today, I was getting all these calls from people telling me how crappy of a day they were having. So when this happened to me today I didn't feel so bad. I actually let out a laugh... It wasn't until I was sitting in the lobby at Holley's Tires that I thought I could've been more productive with my day.... 

Happy Birthday Christine!

Number 18! Wow. My little cousin is now legally an adult. On my 18th birthday I went and got my first tattoo. Other than that I really don't remember much of what I did. That was quite some time ago now though. I'll have to find out what Christine did. I haven't spoken with her yet. I only had a chance to wish her Happy Birthday on Facebook. I ended up being something like the 45th person to wish her a HB on her wall as well.... I wish I was that Facebook popular! Anyways, Happy Birthday Christine!

Grilled Cheese Extravaganza!

Start with some Sourdough bread. Slice up some Mild Cheddar, Colby Jack, Munster, Romano, Parmesan, and Blue Cheese. Add a little fresh Basil and Voila! That is one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches that you will ever taste! 

Last Night!

My Godson went to go see Santa! He looks so happy!

I remember these photos. Putting our kids on display and making them smile. You know they don't want to. Sitting in front of studio lights in the middle of the mall. Everyone walking by just staring. It can be a little awkward for a kid. We have to ask ourselves what this myth of Santa Clause does for our kids? I know it seems harmless and all but what are we really teaching our kids with this parable? Eventually you have to break their heart and tell them he doesn't really exist or some kid in their class will. Then what happens? I don't know. Maybe Peter Pan does need to grow up. I don't think he'll make it very far in the real world with that outfit though.

Vikings up on Top!

This was an awesome game! I tried to post the highlights but under the NFL the rights to the videos are a little tight. So if you missed the game and get a chance go to NFL.com and check it out! Well, with this win the Vikings are on top of the NFC North. Hopefully we can stay there to go to the playoffs. It might be difficult if we lose our defensive line to a 4 game suspension though... I'm excited to see what happens!

Roller Coaster of Life.

We are going to name this ride the Crazy Loopdy Loo! Now that there is a slow minute it is time to play catch up. The last week has been very busy for me. In a good way! There hasn't been a dull moment! From Carlsbad to Hollywood lets go one more time.

Gas!

Finally in California we are able to purchase a gallon of gasoline for under $2.00! It wasn't even below $3.00/ gallon when I moved out here!

Jeff.

Oh yeah this is good. Two nights ago I get a text from my buddy Jeff. He wants to come visit. December 6th works for him so I agree. Then yesterday I get a call from him. "So... ah if I fly out there tomorrow is that cool?" I just had to laugh. The sad thing is that I paid more for my plane ticket with a month in advance compared to his ticket he bought with one day before the flight. I don't get it but Jeff is on his way here right now! 

James Bond.

Anyone see the movie yet? It was awesome! I don't want to spoil it but the reviews are right. Daniel Craig plays a very good Bond. Not as good as Sean... but none the less amazing. Go see the flick.

MN Here I Come!

I bought my plane ticket to the frozen tundra today. I leave the 19th of December and come back the 5th of Jan. Plans are starting to come together so if you want to hang out shoot me an email and we'll make some plans! I can't wait to see all of you!

Haha! Gotta love what you do and make sure it is color correct! Today we were shooting some fashion models for Callaway's Fall 09 Catalog. I'm tired though. I need to crash. 

Sunday Funday.

I've been to Trestles 4 times in the past 2 days.... I've been on a little bit of a beach kick lately. It was a totally chill day. Played some soccer and frisbee in the sand. Relaxed in the sun. I loved it.

The Santa Ana winds are blowing and we are having a heat wave! So we pack up and head to Trestles. Beer, surf boards, and Bear and we are on our way!

Today we shot at Callaway's test center for pro's. It is such a nice place to shoot. We were working on a shoe ad that should be coming out this Christmas/Spring. Not a definite time frame yet. We got to hit a few balls ourselves this time around too. Working real hard...

Back in the Day.

When I was still in college one of my professors, Melissa Borman, had a show of an installation she had put together. Rick was taking pictures and I ran across this one today. I thought it was a great shot. I've been working a lot on my projects lately. There are so many photographs that I have taken over the years. Its great to see progress in what you have been doing. I even just look back in my blog to when I first started and so many things in my life have happened. I look forward to the days ahead and can't wait to see what I do with it next...

Trestles Sunset.

I don't do this often enough. There is something so calming and soothing about being here at this moment in time. The world seems to stop. Everything is at peace and there is nothing more beautiful.

I don't know if there are words in the English language to explain what happened on this night. I don't even know where to begin really. It kind of goes like this. Hollywood. San Clemente. Surfing. Sunset.  Grocery store parking lot with Tina Turner. Dinner. Drinks. Games. Laughs. More Drinks. OC Tavern. Definitely more laughter.....

San Diego to Hollywood.

Today was a long but great day. Jahnna was up in Hollywood and Sarah and I went up there for the night. As we went to the grocery store for a deck of cards the night turned an unexpected corner and we were off to Hollywood Blvd. to meet up with my buddy Will who goes to LA Film School. We painted the town red and ended the day with a few stories!

A Day that America Will Remember.

Last night will go down in history books. I am proud to be a part of America at this point in our history. I hope you are too.

Go Vote!!!

You have the right to vote! Which is more than what a lot of people have in this world for rights. We need to get out to the polls and exercise that right! It is going to be a close race and everyone has a voice that needs to be heard! Electing a President only comes once every four years and has such a dramatic effect on our country and world! We need to take this opportunity as a democratic society and show the world how strong we can be!

Second Night - The Luxor!

Saturday night at the Luxor! I played a little Blackjack earlier and picked up a few dollars. Vegas is such a solid town. There is so much to do it is hard to decide! I can assure you whatever your heart gets into, you will have fun! 

Halloween in Vegas!

Sarah flew out and we are on our way to Vegas for Halloween! Things are going to be crazy! We are staying our first night at New York New York. I've heard this casino was a pretty nice stay so we figured we would try it out. We put on our costumes and hit the strip! Sarah was obsessed with the tall ass drinks all night so we went from casino to casino checking out all of the crazy costumes and grabbing a tall drink here and there!
